Position: Food Storeroom Attendant (Union)
Department: Purchasing
Primary Responsibilities:
Unloading of t! rucks, filling of orders, cleaning
Secondary Responsibilities:
Keeping log of items we are out of, keeping log of items thrown away bad, making block ice for carving.
Receive, sort, place received food items in proper storage
Weigh/count items disbursed
Fill out proper paper work and answer the phone.

Posting requisitions in computer system
Normal Working Hours:
Varies You will be learning all shifts, days, evenings, and weekends. All shifts are five eight and a half hour shifts, including half hour unpaid meal period. This is subject to change and may include additional or less hours as business demands fluctuate. It is quite likely that this position will be on low earnings or lay off during the off season.

Past Work Expe! rience Requirements:
Helpful if experienced in a fast ! paced warehouse situation with knowledge of foods
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Communication Skills Requirements:
Communicate with internal and external customers (guests, owners, employees, and vendors)
Good telephone skills
Must be able to read and comprehend
Technical Requirements:
Basic Math skills Tested
Operating pallet jack Certification class will be provided if not currently certified by The Greenbrier's training program
Basic computer skills Training will be provided on software operation
