Principal Duties and Responsibilities
In the Hallmark Card Department, you will replenish, straighten, and track inventory of the every-day and seasonal greeting cards and specialty items which includes gift wrap, party supplies and other stationery items. This position will require you to lift boxes up to 50lbs as well as stoop, squat, walk and stand for long periods of time. If you store is being revised, reset or remodeled you are expected to be present and participate in the activity. You will use technology (internet and/or a handheld wireless device) for various job activities, reporting time and viewing policies and information.
Job Specifics
In this position, you will merchandise Hallmark product at the Walma! rt store located at 1001 Warrior Way in Quincy, WV. At this st! ore, you will be working as part of a merchandising team to ensure that someone is merchandising the store every day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday during the morning hours. You must start your work day by 11am (no earlier than 8am) and you will alternate your week day and weekend hours with your teammate. Additional days may be required during the seasonal peaks and to cover if the other Hallmark merchandiser is unavailable. Although hours are not guaranteed, you will typically work 6 - 10 hours each week during non-seasonal times and 11 - 15 hours during busy holiday periods. Your daily hours may vary depending on the shipment size. You must be available to work up to an 8 hour shift the day before and the day after any major holiday.
