Medication Assistance Coordinator

Location: Charleston West Virginia

Description: Comprehensive Pharmacy Services is currently interviewing Medication Assistance Coordinator right now, this occupation will be placed in West Virginia. Administer the medication assistance program to assist indigent populations and decrease the overall pharmacy drug spend. Maintain positive cu! stomer working relationships. Work with professional medical personnel to gain compliance and successfully qualify and enroll patients. Maintain accurate records, through multiple databases, which report the success of the program. Routinely communicate success to the customers and CPS management. Troubleshoot applications as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent education required (Bachelor’s degree in healthcare,

finance, or related field or a combination of education and experience is preferred)

• Pharmacy Technician certification required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience and general office/secretarial experience is desirable
• Understanding of the billing and reimbursement cycle
• Strong computer skills, including expertise in database management, MS Office with an

emphasis on excel and access

• Strong understanding of confidentiality of ! patient records and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to multi! task, prioritize and self direct work
• Ability to present and communicate with healthcare professionals at all level
