Summary: The Manager of Supply Chain Systems and Process will plan and lead initiatives related to Supply Chain system and process enhancements. Maintain primary relationship with corporate IT and coordinate and support project schedules to maintain appropriate prioritization of both strategic and tactical projects, as well as to assure proper resource availability is achieved to complete projects on-time on on-budget. Analyze current Supply Chain systems and processes to develop proposals for implementing systems and process changes that will benefit the business and create efficiencies in associate workflow and/or in data management/reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide thought leadership to Supply Chain systems and process improvement opportunities and propose next steps and feasibility for implementing necessary changes, including business case development, process documentation, test scripts, business requirements and cross-project integration Primary role in administering all Supply Chain systems within Distribution, Transportation and Vendor Compliance departments, including knowledge of material handling equipment, warehouse control systems, general configuration, customer system tables, reporting, menu options and user knowledge Maintain relationships, in conjunction with IT, with key application suppliers related to help desk inquiries, potential configuration or code modification changes, upgrade paths, etc.

Develop a process to field front-line help-desk calls for Distribution and Logistics before elevating to outside parties Supervise and develop a Supply Chain Systems Team that is flexible, supports all areas of Supply Chain users and operations, and is knowledgeable of Distribution, Logistics and Vendor Compliance functions Project management responsibilities for multiple projects at one time, including both strategic and tactical projects Create sustainable process for communicating with all levels of user community to define needs, identify improvement opportunities, to address concerns and to streamline operations and data flow Primary role in quantitative data analysis (collection, storing and reporting) for all areas within Supply Chain Coordinate and lead testing efforts for new code deliveries both in lab and floor environments Change management program creation and execution for strategic and tactical projects Other duties as assigned Authority: Oversee activities associated with Supply Chain systems and processes, including system administration, enhancements, testing and project implementations Supervise a team of Analysts and Coordinators Budget preparation and adherence Outside vendor relationship management Qualifications: BS Degree in Supply Chain, Information Management or related field 5 years related work experience in supply chain, distribution or logistics environment Technical knowledge in PC-based and i-series based applications, including Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Control Systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and/or reporting tool applications Prior Supply Chain project management experience Ability to express systems and process concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise Proven ability to build productive cross-functional relationships, and manage training and change management efforts Disclaimer: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by this position.
