Responsible for supervising the laboratory staff and their schedules Working directly with our internal LQSi programs! , keeping supplies stocked for the laboratory, and being able to perform some maintenance on laboratory equipment.

Branch Manager; Minerals Services
Specific responsibilities
The selected candidate will be a working Supervisor processing analysis in the coal laboratory, working along with and supervising a current staff of three employees. The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for the laboratory in general; it's daily functions of producing quality work, and the cleanliness of the entire laboratory and its equipment. Achieving excellence in Safety, Quality, and working across lines with other departments to achieve superior client service is a must.
Profile
- Extensive experience and knowledge within a coal laboratory.
- Previous supervisor experience preferred
- Candidate must be able to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High School diploma or GED prefe! rred
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Mus! t be able to pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) presenting information individually or in small group situations to internal or external customers.
- Ability to execute detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- The candidate must have good computer, written, and oral skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to follow directions ensuring the end results are accurate and completed with the required timeframe.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- All required licenses must be maintained in an active status without suspension or r! evocation throughout employment.
