JOB SUMMARY:
The Category Director for professional services will source, implement and manage national supply agreements for approximately $300M in annual professional services spend and achieve $8M - $10M in EBITDA and cash savings annually for the company. The Category Director will analyze historical spend ! and extract potential sourcing opportunities for the business.! He/she will develop working relationships with key stakeholders to define their requirements, develop the strategic sourcing strategy, define, prepare and negotiate complex service level agreements, take ownership through the contracting process and determine requirements for ongoing supplier management. The Category Director also identifies and leads e-procurement strategies across the professional services categories. The Category Director for professional services is viewed as a trusted business advisor in which he/she influences budget owner executives to reflect project savings in their business unit's budgets.
The Category Director reports to the Indirects Portfolio Vice President in the Strategic Sourcing organization.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Technical Experience:
Minimum 7 years in progressively challenging roles in sourcing, negotiations, category management leadership and supplier management
Has direct knowledge of the sup! ply market, created service level agreements and experience in sourcing at least three of the following professional services categories:
Contingent labor
HR benefits
Financial services
Insurance
Consulting services
Travel-related services
Document management services
Legal services
Other business services
Experience in using e-sourcing tools to execute and manage sourcing projects
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree is required. MBA is a plus.
