For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. The Engineering Technician supports the Midstream business in a variety of ways. Depending on specific assignment, Engineering Technicians often work as part of asset teams by evaluating, defining, documenting, mapping, budgeting, presenting, planning, initiating, and/or tracking natural gas & oil gathering system construction projects and operational improvements. Engineering Technicians may also work as part of corporate teams focusing on Engineering, Construction, Pipeline Safety & Integrity, or other Midstream-wide efforts. In any potential specific assignment, the Engineering Technician role has a strong emphasis on analytical acumen and interpersonal communications.

  • Maintains data quality and integrity by watching for trends in incorrect data input, or inefficient processes leading to inaccurate data.
  • Creates custom reports, presentations, or summary data, for a variety of Operational and Financial purposes.
  • Applies skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability and data accessibility throughout the group.
  • Compiles data, communicates, and provides information to teammembers.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of available data applicable to business requirements.
  • Assists with regulatory and/or company-prescribed compliance as needed.
  • Increases knowledge base about the Midstream business by attending both on-the-job and classroom-based training activites.
  • Must be able to manage many tasks simultaneously and be able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to learn, change, and adapt quickly.
  • Must be skilled in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to become proficient in new software applications quickly.
  • Must possess self-discipline, strong detail-oriented analytical skills, and the ability to absorb and apply Midstream Natural Gas Industry concepts and terms.
  • Must be regarded as a team player as well as a goal-oriented individual who functions with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Demonstrates the ability to implement new ideas and the desire to learn.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must function effectively among various types of individuals and groups.
  • Proficiency in GIS systems a plus.
Bachelors degree in Math, Science, or related field is preferred.
