PCC- Specials Metals Division is seeking an Analyst to make an impact on the manufacturing execution and shop floor processes within their facility
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reporting to the Division Director of Information Technology of Special Metals, the Oracle Manufacturing Analyst will be directly responsible for implementation and support of optimal Oracle manufacturing and Shop Floor system solutions throughout PCC â€" Special Metals Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with internal customers to facilitate the translation of business requirements into detailed manufacturing and shop floor system requirements and work with other IT staff to arrive at optimal best practice solutions.
Play a key role in the development and implementation of a standard Shop Floor System throughout all Oracle E-business suite locations.
Configure, modify a! nd develop manufacturing rules, application configurations and! integrations within the Oracle manufacturing module.
Understand and adhere to IT quality controls, including development of test plans and scripts, providing proper documentation, respect of access and change control processes
Collaborate, cooperate and interact with various IT support staffs, project team members, and contractors to take positive action and accountability for assigned work
Required Skills
SKILL & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Networking and Systems Administration.
Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management modules, with emphasis on Manufacturing Execution and Shop Floor Management.
Functional, technical and analytical abilities sufficient for the support and configuration of Oracle 11i/R12 applications, including experience with Oracle workflows, personalization and extensions.
Experie! nce providing Level 1 & 2 support for Oracle ERP systems for a global implementation.
Experience in successfully implementing large scale/systemic change efforts across a complex organization.
Strong command of manufacturing system and shop floor best practices.
