The Office of the University Registrar at West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Professional Technologist II. Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar for Technology, this position will provide technical leadership and project management in the enhancement, development, and implementation of technical solutions critical to the mission of the University Registrar's office. A strong emphasis will be placed on data analysis and ability to evaluate the technical side of all diverse business practices in the Office of the University Registrar.
The successful candidate will possess the following: B.S. Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field from a regionally accredited institution (master's degree is preferred); strong ability to identify problems, analyze business processes, and develop or research technical solutions; excellent organization and time management skills with capability to manage multiple work tasks while working both independently and collaboratively; demonstrated experience in reporting using SQL language and demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite. The expected starting salary range is $40-50K (commensurate with experience).
