Our Organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Technician to be part of our Ohio Valley Midstream, Fort Beeler location. As a Senior Operations Technician at Williams, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection, repair and maintenance on the selected natural gas treating systems and compressor stations.
Fort Beeler has three process trains and is responsible for supplying 520 MMcfd (millions of cubic feet per day).
Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot and operate the following: Gas-Fired and Electric Engines and Reciprocating Compressors
Uphold, troubleshoot and operate Centrifugal and positive Displacement Pumps, Exchangers, Vessels
Operate, troubleshoot and maintain cryogenic plant equipment
Accurately complete maintenance records, service reports and other documents an functions! as requires
Embrace safety and environmental complia! nce as a number one priority
Troubleshoot and communicate equipment failures and equipment health analysis while overseeing all daily maintenance tasks
Participate in data gathering, reporting functions, plant start-ups, plant shut downs, maintenance tasks and assist in justifying future projects
Work overtime, during nights, weekends and holidays
Oversee the work efforts of maintenance crews of Williamâs employees and outside contractors
Beneficial Competencies for this Role:
Previously obtained experience with cryogenic operations, gas gathering or similar role
Operate facilities within the regulations of Process Safety Management, Department of Transportation, Risk Management Program and company procedures
Apply fundamental economic evaluations present recommendations to the team
Maintain confidentialities and demonstrate professional conduct and business ethics
Demonstrate prof! iciency in leadership, teamwork and mentoring skills
Readily identifies and promptly acts upon of efficiently organizes any efforts needed to address safety and operational efficiencies with the protection of personnel, community, environment and assets in mind
Thoroughly understands industry and system requirements, while possessing the ability to produce results and to meet more complex goals
Support mechanical and instrumentation control activities associated with turbines, compressors, and measurement systems to ensure balances are within the established limits.
Have working knowledge of flow meters, control valves, and other associated measurement devices
Qualifications:
Basic/Required:
Hold 2 years maintenance or prior experience in gas processing or treating facility
Posses a high school diploma or equivalent
Have adequate communication skills
Work shift work when required t! o meet business needs
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office! Application and PC skills
Preferred :
Posses an Associatesâ degree in Mechanics, Controls Technology, or Electronics.
Previously completed a Mechanical or Industrial Process Operator Program
