Description
Supervises engineers who develop, implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety! regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Experience in hospital setting required.
2 years experience in the field of Environmental Services required.
