We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Executive Director / General Manager to join our team at Atria Collwood in San Diego, CA. As General Manager of an upscale assisted living community you will have the chance to be part of one of the top performing companies in the rapidly growing assisted living industry. The General Manager manages the day to day operations, including full P & L responsibility.
- Plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of operations
- Recruit and train team members
- Supervise employees and creates/maintains a highly functioning team environment
- Has a direct supervisory responsibility for team members
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensures a quality-oriented workforce
- Comply with all local, state and ! federal regulations
- Focus on creating a safe working and living environment
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 2 years experience working with senior populations OR
- Associates Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 4 years experience working with senior population
- 1+ years planning and running group activities
- Experience with seniors highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Experience teaching, mentori! ng or coaching others
- Experience coordinating and scheduling v! olunteers
- Knowledge of humanities, creative arts, world history, cultures, entertainment and exercise
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must have a great sense of humor
- Must enjoy seniors!
