Job Summary: Acts as the first line of support for all operational security related issues. Works closely with the network and systems teams as well as other departmental employees to troubleshoot security issues.
Responsibilities:
Monitors, identifies, reports, and mitigates security weaknesses.
Refines security cont! rols and reports
Implements, monitors, and maintains ! Anti-virus systems, Intrusion detection/prevention system, web content filtering systems, laptop encryption, and vulnerability scanning
Participates in the evaluation, development and implementation of security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments
Provides end user support for security related incidents
Assesses system and application security
Identifies emerging vulnerabilities and evaluates associate risks and threats
Participates in security audits and assessments
Performs other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
BS in Information Systems or Computer Science required or 2 year technical degree with 2 years hands on experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and using enterprise security solutions
Experience with Linux system administration, incident response and disaster recovery operations
Exper! ience with healthcare systems applications
