The Freelance Remote Social Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance Sparkpoint Business Systems' online presence, engage our target audience, and drive brand awareness. This position requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, content creation, community management, and analytics. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing social media campaigns and driving meaningful results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
- Manage and maintain all social media accounts (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) for Sparkpoint Business Systems.
- Create and curate engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video, for social media posts.
- Plan and schedule social media posts using social media management tools to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster engagement and build relationships with followers, industry influencers, and potential clients through active participation in online conversations and community management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns that align with marketing objectives and target audience preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for engagement.
- Conduct regular social media performance analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify potential areas for improvement and innovative social media approaches.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, stories, and insights to develop engaging social media content.
- Adhere to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style standards in all social media communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a social media specialist or similar role, preferably in a business or consulting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and visually appealing content for social media.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and ability to analyze data to drive insights and measure campaign performance.
- Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative social media strategies and campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of business consulting practices and terminology is advantageous.
