We are seeking a sharp developer to help us create public-facing applications for ur US Government agency client. Responsibilities include implementing complex business practices in a challenging, technically advanced environment with the best teammates and the best software tools. We are building the next-generation systems that will improve our the work lives of our client and better service the American public.
Major Responsibilities:
Work in small, high-performance teams creating applications and user tools.
Serve as journeyman technologists: being fully capable of designing and developing code, configuring environments, and deploying technical solutions- all with very little supervision.
Seize opportunities to lead and design, development, and integration of independent modules of COTS, enterprise-level, Documentum-based applications.
Configure local, integration, and production environments for project development and deployment.
Support quick-turnaround software development in a dynamic and highly visible environment.
Double, on occasion, as maintainers and bug-fixers and system/integration tester.
Qualifications:
Complete proficiency in Java applications development, and Documentum custom code development.
Practical experience with the JPA, SSO, XML/XLST, Ajax, and JavaScript frameworks, and facility with UML and design patters.
Practical experience implementing applications within service oriented architectures.
Working knowledge of the leading application server capabilities, configurations, and services.
Experience using Subversion, NetBeans developer tools.
The ability to develop applications using enterprise scale DBMSs (Oracle).
A familiarity with unit testing frameworks, tools (JUnit or similar), and techniques.
To be well-versed in object oriented methodologies and coding practices.
The aptitude for learning and adopting new technologies and frameworks.
The individual will be responsible for developing maintaining and supporting a customized WebTop application custom objects on the docbase.
Responsible for Documentum workflows development, and performing administrative tasks on the docbase for the Dev, QA, UAT and Prod environments.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
