DUTIES:
The LPN/LVN is directly accountable to the Registered Nurse who has been assigned as the Team Leader. The Clinical Care Coordinator has the overall administrative responsibility for the supervision and guidance of the LPN/LVN. The LPN/LVN must be/will:

Identify and be able to initiate appropriate emergency measures and assist others to effectively function in emergency situations.

Demonstrates performance based competency in providing nursing care, based on age specific needs, which requires knowledge and skills representative of a highly proficient LPN/LVN.

Demonstrates the ability to vary the order and sequence of assigned procedures on a wide variety of patient care assignments.

Demonstrates appropriate skills and knowledge for patient needs related to nursing care.

Contributes to the interdisciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the patient's treatment plan promoting patient participation.

Performs support duties for diagnostic examination, preparing and passing instruments and monitoring the patient's condition.

Demonstrate the ability to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team with positive interactions with patients and family member/significant others. Exhibits professional and supportive demeanor with all medical center staff.

Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by the appropriate state accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
