Job Description:
We are searching for an Oracle Applications and Technology Analyst who is passionate about diving deep into Oracle tools and technology to help build and support best business practice solutions. The right candidate for this job is someone who is a self-starter and willing to jump in and learn business processes and the Oracle Applications and technology that support those business processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has EBusiness Suite R12, JAVA, JDEVELOPER, OAF, PL/SQL or other Oracle technology skills and can grow and learn from other team members who have many years of experience developing and implementing Oracle solutions.

As part of the Oracle team, the right candidate will be responsible for supporting the Oracle Applications R12, developing reports using Discoverer and XML Publisher, developing and maintaining web-services using BPEL, extending and personalizing the OAF, implementing new technology such as Identity Management or Portal, and defining business requirements as need arises to implement new modules, features, or business processes.

We moving to the latest release of Oracle Applications R12 and Oracle’s 10g Fusion Middleware, and are looking for someone who can be part of a dynamic team in enhancing and extending business processes by utilizing Oracle tools and technologies.

Scope of Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Support the Oracle Applications R 12 â€" AP, AR, CE, FA, GL, INV, OM, PA, PO, XML Gateway, iPayment, iSupplier, iExpense, iProcurement, and Service Contracts

Develop and maintain reports using Discoverer and or XML Publisher Enterprise for flexible end-user reporting and analysis

Develop and maintain web-service solutions using Jdeveloper and BPEL on Oracle Fusion Middleware

Extend and personalize the OAF using Jdeveloper for iSupplier, iExpense, and iProcurement

Implement new technology such as Portal or Oracle’s Identity Management Suite for SSO and Provisioning purposes

Develop and maintain custom objects including stored procedures and packages using PL/SQL

Participate on project teams implementing new Oracle Application modules, features, or functionality

Work with other teams to understand and develop business requirements

Develop testing scenarios for the required testing procedures and environment

Support, reconcile, and maintain the Oracle production environment as needed

Support and maintain users in the Oracle Applications environment

Experience/Education:
This position requires a college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

2-4 years of experience as an Oracle developer or analyst

Experience with Discoverer or XML Publisher Enterprise is a must

Experience in an Oracle Applications environment is not required but will be given more preference to qualified candidates

Experience with any of the following will be given preference to qualified candidates: Java, Jdeveloper, or OAF

Experience developing and maintaining web-services using BPEL is a plus

Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks

Defining requirements and analysis of business processes is a must

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external implementation teams.

In programming, candidates must know where to retrieve sources of information from the different tables and views. Should be able to construct complex queries with consideration to system performance & maximum efficiency.

Must know & apply validation techniques for a particular application to ensure data integrity.

Knowledge of the standard Oracle alert process, as you may be required to construct an application alert based on user specs.

Technical knowledge and experience of Oracle Applicaitons Open Interfaces, APIs, and Workflow is a plus

Knowledge of accounting systems and processes is a plus
