An opportunity has arisen with a nationwide firm based in Essex for an Applications Manager to oversee the management of all core business applications. This includes business as usual su! pport as well as ongoing enhancement to core systems.
The successful Applications Manager will play a key part in a project to migrate the business to a new ERP solution, and experience of recent legacy migration and ERP migration work will be a significant plus.
Key technical requirements for the Applications Manager include having a strong development background and recent experience with Unix/Linux scripting, EDI/ETL, XML, Oracle database administration, and reporting frameworks.
If you are currently working as a technical project manager, or senior developer and are looking for a step up to a more operationally focussed role, then this could be of interest to you. The Applications Manager would be joining the business at an exciting time in its' evolution and will have the opportunity to play a major part in the change programme.
The Applications Manager role will report into the Head of IT, and the salary on offer is up to £37,000.
