Environmental Engineer
Location: Morgantown West Virginia
Description: Affinity Executive Search is in need of Environmental Engineer right now, this position will be placed in West Virginia. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. This Environmental Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for developing and managing the Company's environmental program, and assisting the plant in mainta! ining compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. This individual will build relationships with the various Local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies, provide quality assurance of environmental program in support of the Company's Coal Fired Generating Station. A strong emphasis on air emission monitoring, testing, reporting and recordkeeping is required for this position.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering is required.
? A minimum of 5 years’ experience in steam and electric power plant operations preferably in coal-fired generation.
? Strong working knowledge of the requirements of 40 CFR Parts 60 and 75
Extensive experience in the use of personal computers and numerous software applications such as ECMPS, MS Office, ERT, etc.
? Ability to productively work independently and as an overall integral Company team member.
? Ability to develop constructive working relatio! nships with all levels of plant personnel.
? Must have str! ong communication both written and verbal skills and the ability to effectively organize and facilitate process teams to implement company improvement initiatives.
? Ability to handle quick changing situations under stress and to work extended hours on short notice if and when required.
