Description: Affinity Executive Search is currently interviewing Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Supervisor right now, this vacancy will be placed in West Virginia. The IC&E Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for all electri! cal, instruments, and control activities associated with the plant. The IC&E Supervisor is responsible for Supervising 8 Technicians (Levels 1 - 3) and leading in troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, calibration, and proper operation of all instrumentation, control systems (specifically Siemens SPPA-T3000 with Automation server (S7-400-4H) , and Turbine control system (SIMATIC FM 458), switchgear, batteries and electrical support systems, and electrical equipment in the plant. This person will attend meetings, schedule work activities with Planning, Operations, and all other disciplines of the plant. This person will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company's policies and applicable laws. The position will be supporting the power plant's Maintenance and Operational readiness, including but not limited to Fuel Systems, Ash Handling, Scrubber System, Steam Turbine Generator, Auxiliary Equipment, Boiler and Auxiliaries, Mills, Crushers, and other pla! nt equipment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s d! egree in the Instrument and/or Electrical field and/or 5 years related experience.
? Strong knowledge of AC/DC Circuits, Machines, Electronic theory and components.
? Correctly interpret complex detailed electrical and electronic drawings and prints.
? Thorough knowledge of plant Safety & Environmental procedures.
? Strong knowledge in the use of personal computers and numerous software applications such as Excel, Word, MS Outlook, Powerpoint, Access, etc.
? Ability to productively work independently and as an overall integral Company team member.
? Must have a thorough knowledge of Plant LOTO system, (Lock-out - Tag-out).
? Must have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate activities with other plant personnel.
? Ability to handle quick changing situations under stress and to work extended hours on short notice if and when required.
? Ability to stay current with changing technologies.
? Ability to comm! unicate troubleshooting activities under emergency conditions.
? Ability to assist in operations activities when required.
