Description: Peoples Bancorp Inc. is currently seeking to employ Universal Banker right now, this vacancy will be placed in West Virginia. The Universal Banker provides excellent service to customers in accordance with Peoples Bancorp policies. The Universal Banker opens accounts, handles CSR transactions, s! ells/cross sells bank products and services, and resolves customer service issues. This position engages in sales and service activities in branch locations. Contribute directly to the success of the banking center by recognizing and uncovering opportunities to make sales referrals on products and services. Will be assigned a 40-hour schedule within the 7-day work week. Walmart branches are open 7 days a week, and have extended hours.
Required Skills
Job experience with extensive customer contact is required. Must be a flexible team player with excellent communication, customer service and cross-selling skills. Must be a decision-maker with well-developed interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively in dealing with customers. Self motivated, assertive, perform well in a sales environment and interact with customer and team member in a professional and personable manner. Must be familiar with Bank loan and deposit products. Work involves extensive ! cash handling, which requires ability to perform advanced math! functions. Need to have flexibility in scheduling.
