About the Opportunity
DMI is currently seeking to hire an Application Engineer for a Federal Government customer on a long-term contract in the Martinsburg/Kearneysville, WV area.!
Position Responsibilities :
Estimate work! duration and detailed tasks for input to project schedules.
Work closely with System Support Personnel and other Application Engineers, DBAs, OSC Support Groups, and members of the user and broader technical communities to accomplish project objectives.
Participate and contribute in project meetings.
Adhere to OSC Policies, Procedures and Practices affecting work products such as: Change Management, Configuration Management, and Quality Assurance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
.NET Framework (C#)
XAML (WPF/Silverlight)
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
SQL Server Compact Edition or SQL Server Express
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a dynamic environment !
Beneficial Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Oracle Applications
Windows 2008/Windows Vista/Windows 7
Education and Experience Requirements:
MA/MS and 2 years of relevant experience, or
BA/BS or 4 years of relevant experience, or
AA/AS (or Industry Standard Certification) and 7 years of relevant experience
