Teller Operations Specialist are primarily responsible for driving day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring compliance requirements are met, managing the banking center's non credit losses and coaching teller to high performance levels, on the Teller Line. Coach and train the teller team to process transactions accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist teller associates by using in-depth pol! icy and procedure knowledge to handle more complex transaction! s and issues. Ensure banking center compliance with federal regulations including, but not limited to, USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act. Create an excellent customer experience.Demonstrate Bank of America core values. Understand and live the values that support our culture.Treat all customers equally and fairly.Adhere to policies and procedures.Stay informed of key priorities and business updates.Execute sales and service plays and processes. May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum two years customer service experience
Minimum one year coaching/leadership/management experience within past 3 years
Effectively lead team to performance goals
Direct and motivate staff
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Extensive experience in assisting customers with inquires and/or probl! em resolution
Identifying opportunities to enhance customer financial needs, goals and objectives
Heightened attention to detail, time management and organization
Advanced computer skills
Pass teller operations specialist pre-employment assessment
Desired Skills/Assets:
Minimum two years cash handling experience
Ability to manage retail operations, as well as plan goals, schedules and objectives and conduct audits
Successful experience with cross-selling, upselling, and/or referring products.
Previous banking/financial services/teller experience
Bilingual (fluent verbal and written skills)
