Sparring is a disruptive international law firm focused on supporting startups, VCs, and technology companies. We are currently looking for a Lead Legal Mind, a role which will become our future Head of UA Operations, to help us serve as a legal one-stop-shop for innovative entrepreneurs. It goes without saying that this role is crucial for our global success.
We are looking for someone with dominant talents in execution who will make things happen and is good at finding solutions, and has great communication skills. A true leader coming from a startup environment or has an experience from an innovative ecosystem.
Someone who will:
provide comprehensive legal advice in relation to corporate, contractual and regulatory agenda and is able to built and lead legal team in more comprehensive projects, such as investment rounds
help our clients understand business angle of their decisions and and thus have an essential role in account management and client strategic decisions
proactively develop our UA operations and communicate with potential clients, nurture meaningful partnerships with ecosystem partners such as VCs, accelerators or communities
be the guide and mentor for our junior colleagues
What experience/skills will you need
Substantial work experience with UA corporate / contract law for at least 5 years - so the responsibilities such as client intake, case management, and business operations is familiar to you
Client-centric approach, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for the challenge of meeting new people and winning them over
Independence, business-oriented mindset with the ability to take control of a situation, make decisions and anticipate obstacles
Task management, critical thinking, startup mentality and strong will to push for the best
Coming from a startup / innovative ecosystem
You should be a qualified UA Attorney
