TRAINEE POWER SUPPLY DESIGN ENGINEERS

Description: Beechwood Recruitment is looking of TRAINEE POWER SUPPLY DESIGN ENGINEERS right now, this job will be placed in West Virginia. We are seeking Design Engineers to join this well-established independent company who specialise in the design, development and manufacture of electronic power systems, ! principally for the defence and aerospace markets. Successful applicants must have a degree in Electronics Engineering (2:1 or above) from a well-established university.
To continue the expansion of in-house and customer funded programmes, you will be involved with the design and development of new units from concept to production. You will be encouraged to offer ideas on how to improve and refine techniques as well as introduce new technologies.
The company's products cover the full range of power supply disciplines:
• Switch mode and linear
• ac and/or dc inputs
• single and multi output
• low and high voltage
• ac inverters both single and three phrase
• power ranges from just a few watts to tens of Kwatts
• standard products
• custom design
• build to print
• support and PDS activities for third party designs
As you will be working on some Defen! ce related work, you must be a British Citizen who has been li! ving in the UK for the last three years or of another nationality who has been living in the UK for a minimum of the last five years.
