JOB PROFILE:
Industry leading manufacturer offers a career-oriented opportunity for a Project Engineer with manufacturing experience as well as troubleshooting and operational experience. Also, you need project management skills and experience. You will be involved in capital project identification, development and implement / installation as well as such matters as tooling design in this state-of-the art plant. Also, experience with plant expansion including design and layout, working with equipment vendors.
This position can lead to advancement to an engineering manager role.
Other functions include:
- “Hands onâ€, mechanical aptitude, engineering floor support
- Any level of Lean / Six Sigma training / tools, a plus
- Analysis skills - Time studies, develop metrics and SOP’s
- BS degree â€" in Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Project management experience / Process improvement
- Capital projects â€" mechanical aptitude, CNC, PLC’s, AutoCAD
- Plant expansion â€" design, layout, specification, vendor interface
- Six Sigma / Lean tools, a plus
- Solid communication, organization and time management skills
