SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Sche! duling Manager, the Production Scheduler plans the most effective processing and packing schedule for all departments in the plant. Planner’s also forecast future demand for coffee and material requirements.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years experience in food production scheduling
- ERP experience required
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, professional, get-it-done attitude required
- Experience in coffee industry preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Import and schedule customer’s demand into an effective process and packing schedule
- Schedule production for Maximus process areas
- Distribute levels for all packi! ng lines for following week’s production
- Forecast future demand for coffee requirements and ordering for Maximus process areas
- Forecast future demand for material requirements and ordering
- Schedule plant instant coffee requirements into Soluble Process production schedule
- Export Kraft demand/production schedule into Kraft systems (Business Partner/WASP)
- Compile management reports as needed
